The Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, along with the Ivy Alliance Foundation, will host a September benefit in St. Louis.
The event will last four hours and will combine wine, bourbon, food, and live music to raise scholarship funds. Proceeds will support an educational advancement foundation for the Alberta Grant and Mattie Harvey endowment. It will assist students who demonstrate strong academic performance while facing financial hardship.
Guests can expect guided wine and bourbon sampling, an open bar serving specialty cocktails and mocktails, and a selection of hors d'oeuvres available during the afternoon. Entertainment will include singer Danita Mumphard accompanied by the Premier PROtainment Band. There will also be a dedicated bourbon experience.
Organizers of charitable gatherings such as this often use banner printing to direct guests and reinforce fundraising messages throughout the venue.
Advance general admission is $81.88, including a $6.88 service fee. Tickets purchased at the door will cost $85. The event’s listing states that purchases are nonrefundable, and complimentary parking will be available on the side lot and along nearby streets. The fundraiser will take place Sunday, September 27, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The venue will be the Mahler Ballroom, 4915 Washington Ave, St. Louis, Missouri.
