The Small Business - Big Opportunity symposium is taking place early next month in nearby St. Louis. It is presented by the Travelers Institute, the St. Louis Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Small Business Monthly.
The event will consist of networking, a luncheon and a program. The keynote speaker on the day will be Michael Echols from the Department of Homeland Security, who will discuss cyber security. There will also be a panel discussion giving advice on how small businesses can find solutions to the many challenges that they face. Representatives of five organizations, including the Small Business Administration (SBA), will be participating in this discussion and answering questions.
Other topics of discussion during the event will be community planning, how to access funding, and the economic outlook for the St. Louis area.
Those attending will no doubt be exchanging Business Cards during the afternoon and briefly discussing their businesses with their peers. Small business owners from all over, including Manchester, will no doubt be ordering more custom designed cards from their regular Stationery printers.
The Small Business - Big Opportunity luncheon and symposium will take place at the Forest Park Visitor Center next Tuesday, December 1, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Admission is free of charge. To find out more about this event, visit the Traveler's Institute website.
