St. Louis college to introduce people to campus life

The Ranken Technical College in St. Louis will be holding an event where people can learn about the typical day of a student on campus.

Shadow-A-Tech is a program that allows those interested in Ranken Technical College to spend the day as a student at the university alongside a currently enrolled student. Participants will get to meet with the instructors on campus and see the hands-on training offered in the college’s facilities. The sessions at the St. Louis campus cover several industries, including information technology, manufacturing, and construction. Guests will have opportunities to learn about automotive maintenance, electrical automation, and architectural technology.

Ranken Technical College is a university that focuses on providing students with hands-on practical experiences that equip them for successful careers. Many students from the college are able to earn certificates and get to work within two years. The president of the university is Don Pohl, a graduate of Webster University who also earned a degree from Ranken Technical College in computer networking technology.

The Shadow-A-Tech program will be held on October 5, November 2, and December 7. All participants must register for the program in advance. The event will be held from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm. Pre-confirmed attendees will receive a light breakfast. Colleges offering programs like this may use flyer printing to share these events with more students.
