St. Louis cat rescue to hold yoga series

The Tenth Life Cat Rescue in St. Louis will host a monthly yoga series to benefit its cause.

Cats N Mats Yoga Night is an ongoing fundraiser series where people can support cats in need. The yoga session takes place at the Tenth Life Cat Rescue's storefront amongst the organization's cats and kittens. The class is open to all experience levels and will be led by Dena French, an experienced yoga instructor who hosts lessons at venues such as Urban Breath Yoga and the YMCA. French also teaches fitness classes and directs a program for aspiring registered dietitian nutritionists.

The Tenth Life Cat Rescue is an organization that was founded in 2009. The group benefits cats by providing them with veterinary care and foster homes. The organization's main goal is to end unnecessary euthanasia and cat homelessness by creating community programs. The cat rescue has held several events, such as Tenth Life Trivia Night, Belly Dancing with Cats, and Caturday Night Fever. People can help the group by becoming volunteers.

The next available Cats n Mats Yoga Night session will be on Thursday, April 20 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Tickets cost $15 per person. Doors will open at 5:45 pm to allow guests to reserve their spots and hang out with the kitties. Organizations that arrange a fundraising series like this may use poster printing to share their events with the public.
