The St. Louis Bourbon Society will be organizing a tasting festival and fundraiser in October.
The St. Louis Bourbon Festival allows guests can try bourbons, whiskeys, and scotches produced worldwide. There are more than 450 varieties offered at the fest from brewing companies such as the Cedar Ridge Distillery, Limestone Branch Distillery, and Wood Hat Spirits. Taking place at the Lemp Grand Hall and Lofts, guests can meet industry celebrities, partake in silent auctions, and try custom-made cocktails. There will also be an on-site cigar lounge where people can smoke.
The organization benefiting from the bourbon festival is the St. Louis Hero Network for First Responders, which is a non-profit marketplace that promotes businesses run by military families and first responders. The co-founders of the group are Charles Metzner IV, Ryan Liebman, and Jacob Kileen. The marketplace highlights the services offered by stores in the network and helps promote exclusive discounts to those in the forces.
The bourbon festival will be held on Friday, October 21 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the event are $90, which includes unlimited samples, live music entertainment, and access to on-site vendor booths. No outside beverages are allowed inside the bourbon fest’s venue.
