The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis (CAM) will be organizing an event to commemorate the tenth edition of its Great Rivers Biennial (GRB).
Confluence: Celebrating the Tenth Edition of the Great Rivers Biennial is an activity where guests can interact with those who have won the GRB while having access to artist resources. The event honors jurors and artists who were involved with the GRB and recognizes how the program has impacted local creators. A few of the special guests at the celebration will be Yowshien Kuo, Yvonne Osei, and Jon Young.
The CAM is a group interested in enriching lives and helping people get inspired through experiences with contemporary art. Lisa Melandri works as the current executive director of the museum, and Wassan Al-Khudhairi is the chief curator. The organization is also home to resident artists such as Jen Everett, Lillian Gardner, and John Blair. The museum was founded in 1980 and later opened to the public in 2003.
The GRB celebration will be held on Thursday, January 26 and will start at 5:30 pm. Admission to the commemorative event is free, though guests may register in advance.
