The city of St. Louis and the surrounding area are gearing up for the holidays. Two of these events promise to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.
The Chase Park Plaza Holiday Extravaganza is taking place in St. Louis for more than three weeks in December. There are set to be Christmas carolers, a Hanukkah celebration, a display about Kwanzaa, and appearances from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and plenty of elves.
Many St. Louis residents will want to visit nearby Purina Farms for the Pet-acular Holiday Bazaar taking place in December as well. Proceeds from this event will go to support local animal welfare organizations. There are expected to be performance by both dogs and cats, food samples for the humans, and free dog treats.
In addition, more than 20 vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of pet-related merchandise. There are also set to be children's activities such as bounce houses and face painting, a breakfast and craft workshop with Santa, and photographs taken with the jolly man himself.
To publicize both of these events, St. Louis printing companies may be asked to provide products such as Flyers.
The Chase Park Plaza Holiday Extravaganza will be held from December 3 to 27, with the opening night celebration taking place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and featuring free cookies, hot chocolate, and cider.
