Spinal cord injury explored in St. Louis

The American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) Annual Scientific Meeting will take place in St. Louis in a few weeks. The event presents injury care, research and spinal cord education for patients as well as caretakers.

The goal of bringing scientists and medical professionals together for this meeting is to establish standards of healthcare for patients with spinal cord injury from beginning of life and throughout. People specializing in healthcare as well as families of patients will have the opportunity to learn about care, services, resources and advances made in this area. Maximizing the patient’s potential and ensuring quality of life is experienced is a focus at this forum.
