Music to rock St. Louis

Several bands are coming to St. Louis that promise to keep residents lively even in the winter.

We Came As Romans (WCAR) is on their “To Plant A Seed 10 Year Anniversary Tour,” with their guests Dayseeker, Gideon, and The Devil Wears Prada. WCAR is a metalcore band from Detroit that did release their album “To Plant a Seed” in 2009. They first got together in 2005, and a review of one of their concerts simply says:

“If you’ve never seen WCAR play live, you must – sooner than later.”

Dayseeker is a post-hardcore band from Southern California that was founded in 2012. To date, the group has released four albums. A reviewer said:

“Saw them play . . . live and it was flawless!”

Gideon is a heavy-metal band who first got together in 2008, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Their style has evolved since their founding, moving away from punk and metalcore toward thrash. They have toured previously with The Devil Wears Prada, the last band on the program.

The Devil Wears Prada first formed in 2005 in Dayton, Ohio, and is a Christian metalcore group. Although they have the same name as the popular film, there is no connection; the band formed before the movie was released.

The concert begins at 7.00 pm on March 6; doors open at 6.00 pm. The venue is the Ready Room, located on Manchester. Poster printing can be used to publicize events like this.
