Dual-branded hotel opens in St. Louis area

The Residence Inn and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, a dual-branded hotel and the first such in the St. Louis area, has opened in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

With construction carrying a $25m price tag, the hotel comprises 119,000 square feet, and has taken over the space previously occupied by Clayton Engineering.

The Residence Inn section of the hotel offers 96 suites, and the Fairfield Inn has 88 rooms. Among the amenities on the property is an indoor pool, laundry facilities for guests, a up-to-date fitness center, meeting rooms, and outdoor seating zone with a pergola and grill. The hotel is on Page Road near I-270, which puts it close to Westport Plaza, and the headquarters of both Edward Jones and World Technology. In addition, Lambert International Airport, St. Louis's main airfield, is only about 15 minutes away.

MC Hotel Construction built the new facility, which will be managed by its sister company, Midas Hospitality. MC is a contractor that specializes in building new hotels and renovating older properties. Robert Willard, MC's principal and president, says the hotel complements the area perfectly, offering accommodations for both overnight travelers and those coming for an extended stay.

Projects like this need to attract bookings, so management might consider working with a brochure printing company to create illustrated Booklets showing the hotel's convenient location and amenities.
