Colorful comedian coming to St. Louis

A comedian who has been nominated for a Grammy is bringing his colorful, and often off-color, brand of humor to St. Louis.

Ron White has been working to perfect his stand-up comedy routine for over 30 years, but it was the Blue Collar Comedy Tour that catapulted him to the top of the list of comedians, along with fellow tour members Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy.

In 2003, his album “Drunk in Public” went to the No. 2 spot on the chart of Top Comedy Albums, and was certified gold by the RIAA. “Drunk” proved to be White's breakthrough, and his next three albums all went to the top spot, including “A Little Unprofessional,” which was filmed in 2012 in Austin, Texas, at the Paramount Theater, and hit No. 1 in 2013. That sent White back on the road again, where he has enjoyed putting audiences in hysterics ever since.

White's comedy is definitely adult, but fans love him. One review says:

"I thoroughly enjoyed his version of raunch. Never over the edge - just perfect! He was truly hilarious!"

Another adds:

"...a grown-up night out with naughty jokes and outrageous tales ... I am certain that is the most I've ever heard my husband laugh. It was a special night I'll always remember.”

White will be at the Stifel Theatre on September 11, at 8:00 pm. Poster printing is an excellent mechanism for creating publicity for events like this.
