Classical music star coming to St. Louis

One of today's most popular singers is on the way to St. Louis.

Andrea Bocelli was born in Lajatico, Italy, a small community near Pisa and Florence. His passion for music started when he was young, and he began taking piano lessons when he was six. Oriana, his nanny, gave him a recording of the great tenor Franco Corelli, and he began emulating Corelli and others.

In 1994, he won recognition when he achieved the highest marks ever achieved for a newcomer in the Sanremo Music Festival. Since 1982, he has recorded albums of both classical and popular music including several albums of his greatest hits; and nine operas. He has total record sales of more than 90 million albums throughout the world. In 2019, Bocelli's album “Si” debuted at the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 chart and the UK Albums chart, the first time he held the top spot in both countries.

Bocelli continues to tour and record, and was praised by superstar Celine Dion, who said:

"If God would have a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli."

A review says:

“Andrea Bocelli was absolutely spectacular! I’m so grateful I was given the opportunity to see him in person.”

Andrea Bocelli will be at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on December 3, at 8.00 pm. Poster printing is often successfully used to advertise events of this type.
