Binding Industries Association Conference comes to St Louis

The Binding Industries Association (BIA) will hold its annual conference in St. Louis, Missouri this year. The venue is the Hyatt Regency at The Arch and the conference will take place from 4-6 June. Brochure printers and other Print companies will be particularly interested in attending this trade event aimed at binderies, providers of graphic finishing, manufacturers of customized loose-leaf products and those who supply those sectors. As part of the conference, attendees will have the chance to tour a range of St Louis binding operations. These provide a range of services including binding services for book publication and private label manufacturing.

The conference will emphasize the creation of networking and connecting with industry peers to break down organizational and structural barriers and help companies to do well. It aims to bring together all involved directly in the industry and those supplying the industry and help them improve competitiveness by attending educational workshops and seminars. The conference will also feature group discussions with industry peers.

Past attendees have commented positively on the networking opportunities the conference presents, as well the ability to learn more about industry techniques. One attendee commented:

"The content of the seminars proved to be insightful and topical, leading to a deeper understanding of the industry. The tabletops provided the opportunity to network and see many of the interesting products being produced and suppliers available."

Many find the conference a useful form of professional development, providing tools and information they can share company-wide on their return.
