Chef and bestselling author Erin French will visit St. Louis in October for a public program marking the release of The Lost Kitchen Volume 3: Seize the Supper.
Hosted by The Novel Neighbor, the appearance will focus on French’s latest collection of recipes and her approach to seasonal cooking, hospitality, and gathering around food.
The cookbook draws from French’s work at The Lost Kitchen, her 50-seat restaurant in Freedom, Maine. Recipes span salads, seafood, poultry, lamb, and desserts, with an emphasis on meals suited to changing seasons and informal gatherings. The volume continues a publishing career that also includes Big Heart Little Stove and Finding Freedom.
French has received national attention for her restaurant, culinary writing and television work. She has appeared in Magnolia Network programming centered on The Lost Kitchen and her travels for food inspiration. Her Maine business has expanded beyond restaurant service to include lodging, retail, a farmers’ market, and a café.
Admission for one attendee with one pre-signed hardcover copy costs $47.19, including a $3.19 fee. Admission for two people sharing one copy costs $52.44, including a $3.44 fee. Organizers of author appearances often use poster printing to advertise featured speakers, Books, and venue information.
The program is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Sun Theatre, 3625 Grandel Square, St. Louis. Doors open at 6:00 PM.
