Childrens camp planned in St. Louis

This June, a weeklong youth program centered on children’s literature is scheduled to take place in St. Louis, offering structured activities inspired by well-known storybook characters.

The camp is designed for children between the ages of five and eight and will incorporate reading sessions, creative projects, and group-based engagement tied to popular fictional figures.

Each day will highlight a different character, with programming that includes guided storytelling, themed crafts, and interactive exercises aimed at encouraging creativity and early literacy development. The camp operates on a daytime schedule and does not include extended care options before or after sessions. Participants are required to bring their own meals, snacks, and water daily.

Enrolment is limited in order to maintain a small group environment. Weather permitting, attendees may also take supervised walks to a nearby park as part of the weekly activities. Organizers often rely on poster printing to promote educational camps like this one.

The cost of attendance is $315.99 per attendee. This price includes a base price of $300 and $15.99 in associated fees. Refunds are available up to 30 days before the start of the program.

The program is hosted by The Novel Neighbor, a local bookstore known for organizing community-based literary events and youth engagement initiatives.

The camp is scheduled to run from June 22 through June 26, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day at 7905 Big Bend Boulevard, St. Louis.
