St. Louis Zoo to hold themed dinner experience
The St. Louis Zoo will organize an adults-only mystery dinner in November with a 1920s mafia theme.
Death of a Gangster: A 1920s Mafia Marriage Murder Mystery is a program where guests can enjoy a live performance and a meal. The show is part of the zoo’s Zoo Dunnit series. Attendees are encouraged to wear era-appropriate attire for the event, such as flapper dresses, zoot suits, and feather boas. Guests may also wear traditional wedding attire and pinstripe suits. Participants must follow the zoo’s costume policy, and attendees will not be allowed to use cigarettes as props.
The meal for the murder mystery will consist of several courses. Guests will start with appetizers like veggie spring rolls and toasted ravioli. There will be a garden salad, and the main dish will be lemon panko chicken or mushroom cannelloni. Attendees can have carrot cake for dessert. Those with dietary restrictions must let the zoo know about them in advance. A cocktail hour will be held before the meal at The Living World building near the zoo’s north entrance.
The murder mystery experience will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 5:45 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets to the show and dinner will cost $760 per person. Members of the St. Louis Zoo will get to pay $680 for their tickets. All guests will receive free parking for the event. Attractions that organize shows like this may use banner printing services to share important details about their programs with consumers.
