St. Louis garden to create offer lights display
The Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis will transform its grounds into a festive display in November.
Garden Glow is a seasonal event where the Missouri Botanical Garden sets up over two million lights to create festive installations throughout its grounds. There will be many photo opportunities in the garden where people can pose with the light displays. This year will have several new additions, including holiday animations at the Tower Grove House and interactive features that let guests control the lights. Visitors can explore themed locations like the Candy Cane Crossing and Twinkling Tunnel.
There will also be special nights throughout the program that cater to specific audiences. Those with sensory sensitivities can attend the event on Sensory Night for a modified experience with quiet areas. The garden will have a Jingle and Mingle night for those who are 21 and older. The adults-only event will feature fire pits, a complimentary drink, and a photo op with The Mean One.
Garden Glow will last from November 15th to January 3rd. General admission to the garden will cost $24 per person, though discounts are available for members of the Missouri Botanical Garden. There will also be family nights with discounted ticket prices.
