St. Louis festival to celebrate Hispanic culture
Hispanic Festival, Inc. will be organizing a cultural event in September at Souldard Park in St. Louis.
The Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival is a celebration where people can experience and appreciate Hispanic culture. There will be seven live Latino bands playing throughout the event and performances by traditional dancers from Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. People may try various foods and beverages from South America at the Cultural Village, and children can enjoy activities at the Los Ninos Kids Corner. Visitors can also browse more than 50 vendor booths.
Hispanic Festival Inc. is an organization comprising volunteers who wish to unite all Hispanics and share their culture with the community by coordinating festivals and presentations. The group is led by Haniny Hillberg. The organization offers a leadership program and recognizes significant individuals by adding them to the Hispanic Festival Hall of Fame. Members of the group have connected with students in venues like Eureka High School and Greenville Illinois High School.
The Hispanic fest will be held on Saturday, September 24 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, September 25 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Vendors interested in joining the festival must pay a $150 deposit and are responsible for decorating their own booths. Businesses that attend cultural celebrations like this may use banner printing to stand out to attendees.
