St. Louis celebrates three Mexican T words
The St. Louis Tacos, Tequila and Tarantulas event at the Butterfly House in Faust Park is going to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style this year.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy tasty appetizers, creative cocktails and other beverages, dance to the music and join in in animal encounters. Brave visitors can get up close to the tarantulas onsite or try one of Bug Chef’s famous cricket tacos. They will also learn how tequila is made.
Food truck vendors often order banners to highlight their company names and products available. The banner printing is done on heavy vinyl or canvas, and can feature logos, messaging, and eye-catching graphics.
The Butterfly House is located in Faust Park and is an extension of the famous Missouri Botanical Garden. Walking through the butterfly conservatory is a one-of-a-kind experience as visitors can enjoy over 60 species, totaling over 1,000 butterflies from around the globe in free flight. Guests will also have the rare opportunity to watch a brand-new butterfly as it emerges from one of the many chrysalises in the habitat. The venue is kept warm for the insects to live in a natural environment, so visitors are encouraged to dress accordingly.
This event in celebration of three words synonymous with Mexico will take place next Wednesday, May 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
