The 35th Annual Summer Concert Series will be starting in the next few days and continuing until mid-August.
Chesterfield Regional Chamber’s concession stand will offer soda, wine, beer, candy, popcorn, and snacks for purchase. Dining choices will be available from food trucks and local restaurants.
Commerce Bank is graciously bringing back its Kids’ Zone with face painting, the Bubble Bus, games, and balloon twisting.
The kick-off event next Tuesday, June 7 will have cake and fireworks, along with Butchwax and the Hollywoods. This group will present an evening of summer fun. Other June concerts include Scott Laytham and Kari Holmes, who will play June 14, and the theme will be Superheroes. June 21 will be Jungle Party night and Boogie Chyld will perform, and June 28 will be Tie-Dye night with Spectrum.
July’s lineup will be Hulapopper on Patriotic night, John Henry on Wild Wild West night, Volcanic Ash on Harry Potter night, and The Lone Rangers on Sports night.
August concerts will include Retronerds on Dancin’ Thru the Decades night, Rock Opera on Carnival Time, and Billy Peek on Rock n’ Roll evening.
Events like this often let the city have pictures taken, and these photos then go to local Print shops to become part of visitor guidebooks.
The gate will open at 5:30 pm on Tuesdays at Faust County Park, 15185 Olive Blvd., and the concerts will run from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Season passes will be $45 and individual tickets will be $5.
