The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Business-over-Breakfast next week.
The guest speakers will be Captain Ed Nestor and Captain Steve Lewis. Members and nonmembers are invited to take part.
Captain Lewis is presently the Commander of the Division of Operational Support for the Chesterfield, Missouri Police Department, and has been in law enforcement for over 25 years. He has had extensive experience in the fields of security planning, personal safety, and workplace violence response and has been giving presentations on these topics to Missouri organizations and businesses over the last ten decade.
Captain Ed Nestor is presently the Commander of the Division of Police Operations for the Chesterfield, Missouri Police Department. In 1992 he was the National D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year. Many will know him as the lead singer of a local blues and rock n roll cover band, Dog’s Breakfast. He is also the Chairman of Backstoppalooza, a rock concert that is held every October to benefit BackStoppers, an organization that aids families of fallen police officers, firefighters, and EMs.
No doubt both speakers will take the opportunity to talk about their lives and their roles within the police.
Admission fees for the breakfast will be $15 for members and $20 for guests. The breakfast will be held Thursday, February 12, from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at the Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway W., Chesterfield.
