Chesterfield’s Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 27th Annual Golf Tournament later this month.
It will be a four-person scramble. Lunch will be served and the Shotgun Start will begin right after.
In addition to the winner’s award, there will be prizes for the closest to the pin and longest drive. Golf goody Bags will be given to all participants. A skins game is also on the agenda,and the winning team will get a 50/50 payout.
A Cocktails and Buffet will bring the event to a close. The evening will include an award presentation and silent auction, which will have items donated by Chamber members. The items for the raffle this year will be a five-day and four-night Caribbean Cruise and $300 donated by Jay Wolfe Toyota of West County.
New this year will be the Pink Ball Challenge, in which teams can participate for $100. Each team will receive a numbered pink ball which will be shot from each hole at the ladies’ tee by a different member of the team. All pink balls that make it through the entire 18 holes will be entered in a 50/50 drawing.
Calendars will need to be marked now for the Golf Classic, scheduled for April 25th at the Persimmon Woods Golf Club, 6401 Weldon Spring Road, Weldon. Registration will begin at 10:30 am and the event will conclude at 7:00 pm.
