Chesterfield adults and kids alike are invited to attend one of the last major outdoor adventures this season: Taste of Trucktober.
Food trucks from all over the area will gather to share their wares with locals looking for a good way to welcome the changing of the seasons with friends, family, and other loved ones.
Taste of Trucktober is being held in conjunction with Backstoppalooza, an annual fundraising concert in support of Backstoppers, a group dedicated to helping the families of police officers killed in the line of duty.
Those that attend will find a variety of food types being offered with various beverages. The event is being sponsored by several local businesses and radio stations, and will also feature game playing and karaoke. The event will finish with a concert by Rattle & Amp and Hum, a U2 tribute band. Those that attend are free to take their own food and beverages, though glass bottles are banned. They may also want to have banner printing done to identify family or group locations.
Taste of Trucktober will be held Saturday, October 3, from noon until 5:00 pm. The Backstoppers rally and concert will start up immediately thereafter, running from 5:00 pm until 10:30 pm. Both will be held at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans Place Drive, Chesterfield and are free to attend.
