Chesterfield’s first annual Trike Riot will take place in the middle of this month
Ameren Missouri, the Arch 106.5, 92.3 WIL, and 101ESPN are sponsoring this high-octane event. All proceeds will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.
All non-motorized three-wheelers are invited to participate. Participants may either bring their own trikes or buy new Razor DXT Drift Trikes when registering. Those buying a trike will also receive aviator sunglasses. Everyone is welcome to decorate their trikes and to dress up or wear costumes.
The day will be divided into two main events: the first will be the Family Friendly Trike Ride. This will be a leisurely cruise around the facility that may include the little ones and their three-wheelers. Following that, the adult three-hour, 5K, 21 and up Trike Ride will be geared to grown-up riders. Food trucks and live music will greet the riders at the finish line.
Family and friends of participants may want to bring Banners supporting their rider.
The event will be held on Saturday, August 20 at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans PL Drive, Chesterfield at 11:00 am. Assembly will run from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Professionals will be on hand to answer questions. The Family Friendly Trike Ride will be from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, followed by the adult ride at 5:00 pm.
