Chesterfield runs 8th Shamrock
The 8th Annual Shamrock Run has been scheduled for here in Chesterfield for mid-March.
The event will have a 5k, a 10k and a Lil' Leprechaun Fun Run Race for the children. The adult races will cost $35 until March 14th and $45 on race day. Tickets for the Lil' Leprechaun Run will cost $15.
Awards for the 5k and 10k will go to overall female and male finishers, and to the top female and male finishers in eight age categories. All fun run participants will receive medals.
Race packets will be available for pickup Friday, March 14th from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm at Dick's Sporting Goods, 64 THF Boulevard and on race day from 7:30 am to race start at race location.
The 5k and the 10k will begin at 8:30 am followed by the fun run at 10:00 am.
The starting line will be by the B5 field at West Parking lot #2, and parking will be available in the west parking lot near the A1 and A 2 fields.
Many races have banner printing done beforehand to have banners with the race theme (in this case Shamrock) and colors (white and green) to put over the start/finish line.
