New this year, Party off the Parkway will be celebrating our community in a few weeks. Guests can eat, drink and listen to live music, while the little ones can enjoy various activities.
Farmtruk will be bringing its farm-to-table concept to the party. Local farmers will be providing fresh fruit, meat, and vegetables, and Farmtruk will be preparing food of its own.
Sweet treats such as cookies, brownies, cake bars, and cupcakes will be available for purchase from Destination Desserts. Wandering Sidecar Bar and Naked Vine will be supplying adult beverages.
Volcanic Ash will be jammin’ with classic rock hits from the ‘60s and 70s, including songs made famous by Billy Joel, Chicago, and Steely Dan. Guests may enjoy wearing and bringing their old Promotional Products and T-Shirts from the original groups.
Area yoga instructors from Valley Yoga will be teaching beginning classes in the art of yoga. They will be discussing and demonstrating meditation, breathing, and postures.
All guests can participate in the origami project. First, everyone will learn how to fold the paper, then they can create original pieces in many colors, shapes and sizes. Finished pieces can be contributed to the next ‘Burbs Music & Arts Festival’s public origami art installation. Sidewalk chalk will also be available for drawing.
The fun will begin at 4:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm on September 3 at Chesterfield Central Park, 631 Veteran’s Place Drive Chesterfield.
