At least five holiday events are scheduled for December 4 here in Chesterfield.
In the morning, pictures with Santa will take place at the DRG office, 16305 Swingley Ridge Road, STE 500 from 9:00 am to noon. Attendees are asked to bring unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots. Guests are invited to enjoy coffee, pastries and donuts while they wait their turns with Santa.
Easterseals Midwest will have its annual Milk and Cookies with Santa from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, 16625 Swingley Ridge Road. The event will include seasonal music and holiday activities, and will be free for the whole family. Santa will be meeting and greeting the children.
Central Park, 16365 Lydia Hill Drive, will be having its First Annual Holiday Celebration. The Santa Dash and Fun Run will begin at 3:00 pm. Registration will be $12 and swag will include jingle bells and Santa Hats featuring the Chesterfield Parks, Recreation and Arts graphic design.
Finally, at 5:00 pm, the park will host a Candy Cane Hunt for children from two years old to twelve. Special characters will be helping the children hunt for candy canes in their age-appropriate areas. Following the hunt there will be crafts and the park’s first ever Holiday Tree Lighting and ceremony. Registration for the hunt will be $12, and participants are asked to bring items for the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon toy drive.
