The City of Chesterfield will once again be presenting a Fourth of July celebration.
Music on the Main Stage will be by the award winning band Fat Pocket. This high-energy ten-piece group is known for its powerhouse vocals, hot horns, and sharp rhythms. The band will play music from the ‘60s up to songs heard on today’s radio. Fans will be flocking to see if the band will be selling Promotional Products such as visors, Mugs, and tees.
Circus Kaput – a two-hour circus show – will take place in the Commerce Bank Kids’ Zone. The show will feature acrobats, juggling, unicycling, aerial acts, magic, fire breathing, and teeterboard, along with plenty of audience participation.
No fewer than 15 carnival games, including frog hop, putt-putt challenges, ring toss, an obstacle course, and an inflatable slide and bounce houses will keep the little ones busy in the Kids Zone before the fireworks. After the Zone closes at 9:00 pm other children’s activities will be available all night long.
Although outside beverages and food are allowed, there will be food trucks on site vending those traditional Fourth of July and summer treats, such as funnel cakes, lemonade, hotdogs, and smoothies.
Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water.
The Chesterfield Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, July 4 at Chesterfield Mall, 291 Chesterfield Mall Road. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 and things should wind down around 10:30 pm.
