Chesterfield looks forward to summer concerts

Chesterfield's 38th Annual Summer Concert Series will begin in early June.

The Chesterfield community will once again be treated to free concerts during June, July and August as local musicians are expected to entertain more than 50,000 locals and friends over the summer.

The Chesterfield Regional Chamber's concession stand will have snacks, candy, popcorn, wine, beer and soda available for purchase. Nearby restaurants and on-site food trucks will also have food for sale.

The Commerce Bank Kid's Zone will be returning with balloon twisting, face painting, games and the Foam Geeks. Foam Geeks are a local company that provides eco-friendly, dye-free, safe for grass, and hypo-allergenic foam experiences.

Klose Kuarters will open the season on June 3rd. Other June lineups will include FIRE, and Side Eye Dog. July's bands will include Proud Larry, Missouri Big Band, The Hey Days and the Johnny Henry Band. The two bands that will end the series in August will be 120 minutes and Hulapoppers.

All shows will be on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event will open at 5:30 pm followed by bingo at 6:00 pm.

Although these kinds of concerts are for fun and relaxation, many attendees especially professional and businesspeople still usually bring business cards with them in case any networking opportunities arise.

The 38th Annual Summer Concert Series will take place at Faust Park, 15185 Olive Boulevard.
