Chesterfield holds annual egg hunt and butterfly class
Many families here in Chesterfield will be heading to the City of Chesterfield's Recreation Parks, Recreation & Arts Department's Chesterfield Egg Hunt and interested adults can attend an Art of Attraction about butterflies' class coming on the same day in mid-April.
Thousands of eggs will be filled with candy and toys and hunts will be separated into age groups at the City of Chesterfield's Recreation Parks, Recreation & Arts Department's Chesterfield Egg Hunt. The 1-to-3-year-olds and the 6-to-8-year-olds will begin their hunts at 10:00 am, and the 4-and-5-year-olds and the 9-to-12-year-olds will hunt next at 10:30 am. Children will need to bring their own baskets.
The Easter Bunny will be meeting and greeting visitors and there will be activities including crafts and games and entertainment for guests to enjoy.
Preregistration will be $10 per child through April 1st, and registration will be $15 at the event.
Check-in will begin at 9:30 am.
Chesterfield's Egg Stravaganza will take place Saturday, April 12th at Chesterfield Central Park, 16365 Lydia Hill Drive.
Families dressed in their Easter best at events like this often have pictures taken during the festivities. These pictures often go to local print shops for duplicates for relatives.
