With New Year’s Day behind us, local business owners are looking forward to a profitable year. Many will be taking advantage of networking events and business seminars, and two such opportunities are coming to Chesterfield in mid-January.
The first will be a workshop titled ‘6-Steps to Building a Winning Business’. The program will include five ways to increase profits. Among the topics to be discussed will be creating productive, reliable and profitable teams; getting more from the business; achieving reliable, consistent cash flow; and enjoying life and business. There will also be some discussion on building an exit strategy.
The event is focusing on freeing up time, building a high-performing team, creating a solid sales and marketing plan, and increasing and maintaining a robust client base.
Guests armed with Business Cards will want to arrive a little early to take advantage of a quick 15-minute networking opportunity.
Network-A-Thon is another upcoming networking event. This one matches guests to other guests in business to business, business to consumer, home services, wedding and events, and law categories.
The 6 Steps to Building a Winning Business will take place Thursday, January 10 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Executive plaza Suites, 17295 Chesterfield Airport Road, Suite 200. Although the event will be free, registration is required.
Network-A-Thon will be January 16 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Business Lodge, 416 Chesterfield Parkway West.
