Moving Kids off the Spectrum will be presenting its 2017 St. Albans Fit Family Day and Pedal the Puzzle Bicycle Event toward the end of May.
The first hour will have three instructors who will be at the area overlooking the Old Barn Inn gardens to give lessons in yoga.
Next, Chesterfield bicyclers can ride a 10, 30, or 60-mile bike route which will begin at the Missouri and end at the Meramac River.
A three-hour Family ‘Moving Kids’ Carnival will follow. Kids can enjoy a bounce house and face painting while toddlers will have their own play area. Families will get to go canoeing and kayaking. There will be gymnastics, athletic performance testing, an climbing wall, and an obstacle course. Home Depot will bring a building station.
The Train Station will have a Princess Boutique that will include carriage rides and hairdressing. Little girls will also get to meet and greet princesses. Parents will surely be taking pictures of their little beauties for later poster printing, and they are sure to crop up in future Brochures.
A bike race will be the event finale. This recreational race will be a leisurely ride around Lake St. Albans.
The fun will be at the intersection of St. Albans Road and Mabel Lane next Sunday, May 21, from 7:30 am until 3:00 pm.
