Chesterfield bluegrass lovers look forward to festival

Bluegrass music lovers will be heading out to the first annual outdoor RiverCity Bluegrass Festival coming in a few weeks. The event will feature nine bluegrass individuals and bands over two days.

Lindsay Lou will start the evening’s entertainment on May 17 at 6:00 pm. She will be followed at 7:00 pm by Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass. The Steep Canyon Rangers will perform from 8:00 pm until 10:00 pm, when Steep Canyon Rangers will take to the stage.

The next day’s lineup will begin at 6:00 pm with Pert Near Sandstone. They will be followed by the Jeff Austin Band at 7:00 pm and Railroad Earth will begin at 8:00 pm. Trampled By Turtles will begin at 10:00 pm.

Many of these performers have Promotional Products such as hoodies, hats, and T-Shirts available at their online stores, with poster printing also likely to have been undertaken beforehand.

One-day tickets will be $49 for the lawn, and range from $65 to $99 in the seated sections. Tickets for the two days will range from $80 for one-day lawn area, to $150.

The venue for these concerts at will allow water to be brought in in sealed plastic containers, and food trucks will be available.

The RiverCity Bluegrass Festival will be at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans Place Drive, on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18. Doors open on both days at 5:00 pm
