Spring is here and it’s time for local duffers to get their clubs ready.
Chesterfield’s Chamber of Commerce will be holding its 25th Annual Golf Tournament later this month. The organizers welcome all skill levels to this four-person scramble.
Participants can register, then proceed to the driving range or putting green to warm up. A pre-golf lunch will be served with a dinner following the golfing. A shotgun start begins after the lunch, and a cocktail party will precede the dinner, with both silent and live auctions following it. Some items up for bid are a trip to Italy, Cardinals tickets, and a Persimmon Woods Golf Club Membership. Some lucky guest will win the raffle, while others will take home the door prizes.
Activities will include contests for putting, achieving holes-in-one, getting closest to the hole, and the longest drive. Team prizes will be awarded, and guests will receive welcome Bags. This is an opportunity for businesses to entertain clients and customers while networking with members of the Chamber of Commerce. Attendees will not want to forget to bring their digital Business Cards. Admission varies and there will be a fee for non-players who wish to attend.
