Three local BackStoppers fundraisers are planned over the next two months.
The 18th Annual Bill “Mac” McEntee Memorial Golf Tournament will be the first, offering two tee times – one in the morning with registration beginning at 7:00 am and tee-off at 8:00 am, and an afternoon registration beginning at 11:30 am with a tee-off at 1:00 pm. Individual registration will be $150 while foursomes and team donors will be $600. Silent auction and raffle winners, and tournament awards, will be announced after play.
The tournament will take place Sunday, July 23 at the Greenbriar Hills Country Club, 12665 Big Bend Road, Kirkwood.
Here in Chesterfield, a fundraiser for BackStoppers will take place from noon to 10:00 pm, August 19 at Stackhouse Pub & Grill Chesterfield, 14156 Olive Boulevard. Yard Dog Charlie will provide the music and donations to the BackStoppers will be appreciated.
Finally, the Ed Nestor Memorial Backstoppalooza will have Big Love: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac as the headliners. Admission will be free, and guests are asked to donate to BackStoppers. A percentage of the profits from the food and beverages will also go to the organization. This fundraiser will be August 26th== from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans Place Drive.
