Chesterfield runners can opt to get ready for their Thanksgiving feasts by lacing up for the virtual Chesterfield Turkey Trot and Fun Run, with four options available this year.
For $20, runners can opt for the normal 5K run/walk. Since this will be a virtual race, registrants will be choosing their own locations, and times then posting pictures and times on the event’s website. Swag includes short sleeve tee shirts sporting this year’s graphic design.
Those registering for the Turkey Leg Challenge will set their own mileage goals for the month, earning badges as they reach various milestones. These runners will then log their accomplishments onto the website. Participants in the Turkey Leg Challenge will receive half zip pullovers and finisher medals. Registration for this option is $45, and the challenge runs throughout November.
Participants may also sign up for both the 5k and the Turkey Leg Challenge for $60. Kids can sign up for the Fun Run for $10.
Packet pick-up will have two options. For those wanting to get their swag early, a drive-through will be available at Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex, 17925 N Outer 40 Road from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on November 24, and again from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm on November 25. They can also have the swag sent to their homes.
The Virtual Chesterfield Turkey Trot and Fun Run will take place Thursday, November 26th.
