Next month, The Michigan Chamber will host the In-Person: Sustainable Summit for private sector business owners in the Lansing and wider area to share their strategies concerning environmental issues.
The Michigan Chamber Sustainability Summit will provide a chance for business leaders across the state to work together to develop sustainable strategies that will lessen the private sector’s environmental impact while also boosting business success.
The summit is specifically designed to help small-to-medium businesses “green up” their business practices. Experts in commercial sustainability practices will lead a discussion around how to utilize environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) targets to achieve these green goals.
ESG establishes a set of standards for corporate behavior. In recent years, there has been an increased push for companies to embrace their ESG targets to meet the expectations of consumers and investors. During the summit, business owners will learn about the specific components of ESG standards and how to incorporate them into their business plan.
