Students to hear success talk by Spartan alum

The Innovate State Speaker Series will continue this October by welcoming Jeff Church, CEO and co-founder of Rowdy Energy Drinks, who will speak to MSU students about how to achieve success as an entrepreneur and innovator.

The Innovate State Speaker Series connects current students with successful MSU alumni that present fireside-style chat sessions about entrepreneurism, investments, and innovation. October’s speaker, Jeff Church, will present his talk Two Strikes to Success in which he will share with attendees his own journey to success in the business world.

Church graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business at MSU in 1983 and went on to get his MBA at Harvard University. At age 27, he became president of his first business and has gone on to hold the CEO position of seven companies. He will utilize this vast experience to advise students on the ups and downs launching a start-up.

Students will be able to attend the session for free on October 6 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The presentation will be presented in a hybrid format, with the in-person location at the Entrepreneurship Lab on 651 N. Shaw Lane, East Lansing. Information about the virtual location will be sent after registration.
