Whether Lansing residents like music, movies, beer, art, or comedy, they can find them all at an upcoming festival.
The 8th Annual Art & Craft Beer Fest will be held at four different venues in Lansing's REO Town, all within walking distance of one another. This year, beers from CANarchy will be the featured brews. For those who do not drink, Virtue Cider will provide non-alcoholic cider.
The festival is divided into day and evening activities. From 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm, the festival is suitable for families, and admission is free for youngsters, though adults have to buy a ticket. However, at 5:00 pm, the festival becomes an adults-only event. Children's events include demonstrations on how to draw cartoons, how to make slime, how to decorate donuts, and more. The children's events will take place at the same venues the adults take over later in the day.
The locations involved are the ALT Printing Company, Robin Theatre, REO Town Marketplace, and The Cadillac Room. The Cadillac Room will have card-making activities during the day, and stand-up comedy in the evening. REO Town Marketplace will feature crafts demonstrations all day, while the Robin Theatre will run blocks of short films. The ALT Printing Company will demonstrate how to make coasters and cards.
The festival is scheduled for February 1 from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Flyer printing can be used to create schedules for attendees of events like this.
