Oncology consortium meeting planned for Lansing

Lansing physicians and other medical practitioners should note that the Michigan Oncology Quality Consortium (MOQC) will host its spring regional meeting in early April this year.

Launched in 2009, the MOQC brings together oncologists and gyn-oncologists with the purpose of improving oncology care in Michigan. The MOQC Regional meeting occurs every spring and fall, with both meetings mandatory for one physician from each practice in the area. Other medical practitioners, such as administrators and clinical leaders are also encouraged to attend, although it is not mandatory. Mid-level practitioners, such as nurse practitioners and physician’s assistants are also welcomed, but their presence cannot be in proxy for their office’s physician.

Career gatherings such as this event often provide good networking opportunities for the attending professionals, so Print shops specializing in Business Cards may be called upon for their services.

Registration is free but must occur prior to the event, and the name on the ticket must match the person holding the ticket. For any questions, the MOQC can be contacted by emailing moqc@moqc.org or calling 866-GET-MOQC (438-6672).

The MOQC Spring Regional Meeting is slated for Monday, April 5, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm EDT. It will be held at Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol at 111 N. Grand Avenue. Registration options can be found on the MOQC’s website.
