Next month, the Sparrow Health System will hold the 24 Karat Sparrow Gala in Lansing to raise money for the Sparrow Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RNICU) and Labor and Delivery Unit.
The Sparrow RNICU is the region’s only neonatal intensive care unit, providing invaluable care to the neonatal patients of Lansing and support to their families. Proceeds raised from ticket sales and the silent auction will go towards supporting this integral medical resource.
The charity gala will be presented by IBEW NECA 665, a partnership between the IBEW Local 665 electricians and NECA electrical contractors. Other sponsors include Auto-Owners Insurance, Redhead Creative Consultancy, and the Michigan Health & Hospital Association.
According to the event’s online listing, the gala at the Sparrow Athletic Club will be a glamorous occasion, where attendees are encouraged to dress to the nines to match the decor, with the dress code being strictly black tie. Guests will also be able to enjoy musical entertainment on the night, along with a silent auction offering luxury items and gourmet food and drink.
Galas like this will often attract local businesses willing to act as sponsors, and donate promotional goods in exchange for advertising avenues.
The gala is scheduled for February 24, and will run from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Sparrow Athletic Club is located at 2900 Hannah Boulevard, East Lansing. Tickets are $150.
