Lansing healthcare conference to highlight reform

The 2022 Michigan State of Reform Health Policy Conference will be held in Lansing next month to bring together a range of healthcare professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders.

The conference will be hosted by State of Reform, an organization that reports on the nexus of healthcare and public policy in 15 states. Through its outreach activities, the organization hopes to bridge the gap between policymaking and healthcare to improve the quality of health provisions across the country.

The conference is designed to attract physicians, hospital executives, medical students, legislators, and policy staff. Organizers hope that conference discourse will shed light on the legislative process for those who have good ideas about healthcare reform but may not have experience navigating the policy side of matters. The event also strives to teach policymakers to understand the intricacies of the healthcare system. Some topics of discussion will include the future of Medicaid, equity in maternal health, challenges facing healthcare workers, and the effect of COVID on healthcare.

Conferences like this often invest in creating a detailed schedule of activities, which can be efficiently printed using local brochure printing services.

The 2022 Michigan State of Reform Health Policy Conference is scheduled for April 21 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It will take place at The Lansing Center on 333 E Michigan Avenue. Student registration is $100, and regular registration is $349.
