Lansing will host its 2nd Annual Bourbon Fest next month to celebrate all things bourbon while also supporting a local nonprofit.
The festival will feature over 150 whiskeys and bourbon. Some will only be available with VIP tickets, while others will be included in the general admission ticket. General admission tickets include a souvenir tasting glass and 10 or 15 tasting tickets. VIP Tickets include all that general admission does, plus access to high-end bourbon bottle selection, specially etched bourbon glass, and 20 tasting tickets.
The festival will also feature wine from 45 North Winery and beer from New Holland BC. For designated drivers, there will be kombucha, tea, and nitro coffee from Reputation Beverage Company.
Proceeds will go towards The REO Town Commercial Association, a nonprofit that focuses on the revitalization of the REO Town commercial corridor.
The 2nd Annual Bourbon Fest is slated for November 5. It will be offered in two sessions, with the first from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and the second from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are priced from $15 to $100. The event will be held inside Riverview Church on 1115 South Washington Avenue and outside in its parking lot.
