Ramen bar opening in Bethesda
The Pike & Rose neighborhood in Bethesda will be home to a new location of the JINYA Ramen Bar organization, which already has two locations in the area.
The restaurant is a sit-down, full-service establishment, and is planning to welcome its first guests with free ramen, door prizes, and other fun activities all day long.
JINYA serves dishes using various types of noodles and over 25 toppings, allowing patrons to customize their orders if they would rather create their own entree instead of ordering from the menu. The restaurant accompanies these bowls with five broths and a variety of dipping sauces.
The menu includes favorites like Spicy Chicken Ramen, salmon poke mini tacos, JINYA quinoa salad, Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, JINYA Bun, and curries and rice bowls. Desserts include panna cotta, green tea mochi ice cream, and more. JINYA serves a number of Japanese beers, as well as local brews, along with sake, and cocktails inspired by Japan. They also create non-alcoholic drinks based on tea.
The restaurant seats 74, including 10 seats at the bar. A patio has a table for 18, and a fire pit. JINYA's Hoang Nguyen said the company looks forward to its Pike & Rose location, which he says has a strong community bond.
