Live music comes back to Bethesda

The popular Strathmore in Bethesda has announced the return of live music beginning in the next few days. The venue is an open-air facility offering performances on the Trawick Terrace.

The line-up features performers including Wynton Marsalis, Sophia Rei, The Lone Bellow, and Oliver Wood from the Wood Brothers band. A diverse range of genres is offered, including contemporary, international and chamber music.

The first performance will be Matt Haimovitz and Laura Colgate on June 10 playing a classical collaboration of songs. On June 14 and 16, Lucas Ashby will play modern and upbeat songs. On June 21, Nataly Merezhuk will be featured as she entertains with a jazz improvisation workshop. The award-winning Parker Quartet will provide a chamber ensemble later in the month.

The open-air Patio Stage on the Trawick Terrace is covered and has a maximum capacity of 124 and offers tables to accommodate four people comfortably.

Oftentimes, brochures are used to promote musical performances. When brochure printing takes place, images and interesting content can be included, as well as venue location and ticket pricing.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased on the Strathmore website. Seating is assigned in advance and guests will receive their table number upon arrival. The venue recommends an arrival of 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
