One of the most popular festive traditions in Baltimore will open its doors in late November.
The Christmas Village is one of the largest events of its kind in Maryland, and the main intention is to mirror the festivities associated with traditional German Christmas markets known as Christkindlmarkts.
Christmas Village has been popular throughout Baltimore since it first began in 2013. It was also named as one of the best Christmas markets in 2024 by Time Out. Organizers claim that over 60 vendors will be participating this year.
There are many onsite activities for guests to enjoy. These include a mulled wine tower known as the Glühwein Pyramid, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a beer garden, and outdoor heated tents. Foods such as German bratwurst will also be provided at several stalls. Two parking areas close to Inner Harbor (Harbor Court Garage and Lockwood Place Garage) are available.
Festivals focused on traditional themes will use equally proven marketing methods. Flyer printing, banner advertising, and distributing bundles of Brochures are all effective techniques.
This festival is open Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Friday through Saturday between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM, starting on Saturday, November 22. All festivities will be held at 501 Light Street, and entrance is free. Christmas Village will remain closed on Mondays and Tuesday (except the ones immediately before Christmas Day), and also on Wednesday, November 26.
