Baltimore residents who wish to learn more about the history of their city are preparing to participate in a guided mansion tour scheduled to take place in April. This event provides a unique glimpse into the past, and tells a unique story about individuals who made Baltimore what it is today.
The 2026 April Taste & Tour will focus on the life of Mary Frick Garrett-Jacobs. She was an elite socialite during the latter half of the 19th century, and was particularly associated with Baltimore's Gilded Age. She is also associated with a Baltimore mansion that now bears her name.
Guests will be provided with an up-close-and-personal look at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, and expert guides will explain the influence that its namesake had on the Baltimore community. This mansion features the work of prominent architect Stanford White, so it is also considered an important landmark.
Organizers of the 2026 April Taste & Tour tend to use reliable marketing techniques, as this is a recurring event. Some common approaches include flyer printing, placing banner advertisements in public locations, and distributing Brochures to guests once they arrive.
The 2026 April Taste & Tour is being held on Wednesday, April 15th from 6 PM to 7 PM. Guests are asked to arrive at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion located at 11 West Mount Vernon Place slightly in advance. Tickets cost $18 per person, and no refunds are available.
