Baltimore boasts a rich history, and one example of its prominence throughout the Gilded Age is the Garrett-Jacobs mansion. Residents will soon be able to enjoy an up-close-and-personal view of this property thanks to a tour taking place in January.
Dubbed the January 2026 Taste & Tour, this unique excursion will enable visitors to appreciate the grandeur of the Garrett-Jacobs mansion. All attendees will also be provided with a unique glimpse into the history of the structure, and learn about the role that Baltimore socialite Mary Frick played during the latter half of the 19th century.
Note that those who choose to participate in this guided tour will be provided with on-site refreshments. Visitors can choose between a glass of champagne, or a bottle of sparkling water.
Events that focus on the history of a specific region normally wish to target a smaller demographic. This is why equally efficient advertisement methods will be employed. Brochure printing, creating banner advertisements, and distributing Flyers in community centers are some of the ways to resonate with the intended audience.
The 2026 Taste & Tour is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 21st from 6 PM to 7 PM. Online tickets can be purchased in advance, and each entry will cost $18. Visitors are asked to arrive at 11 West Mount Vernon Place in advance.
