Special garden and plant sale comes to Natick area
The Gardeners’ Fair and Plant Sale of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society will be held at the Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley later this month.
All the items needed to plan, plant, and create a home garden will be offered by many vendors, and green-fingered folk from nearby Natick will most likely want to attend the fair.
Among the items for sale will be ready-to-plant vegetables and herbs; trees and shrubs; numerous varieties of tomatoes; and rare and unusual perennials. There will also be garden accessories and ornaments, unique garden tools and other items needed for gardening, as well as talks by experts in the field. The Herb Society Plant sale will feature unique specimens of plants. An Ask the Master Gardener booth will take place, presented by the Massachusetts Master Gardeners.
More information about such plants and garden items can be made available using flyer printing services.
The festivities in the afternoon will include a food truck, beer and wine, and live music. It will also be International Migratory Bird Day so that there will be special activities for the family, including a Bird Bonanza in all areas of the garden which will enable attendees to learn more about how to make welcoming outdoor spaces for birds.
The date and time for the Gardener’s Fair are Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
