Proposals for community-oriented humanities, science, and arts programs are being accepted by the Natick Cultural Council (NCC).
These are grants supporting cultural activities in the community. The programs can be in-person or virtual and can include festivals, exhibits, field trips, short-term artist residencies, public art, lectures, workshops, or performances in schools.
Preference for the funding will be given to organizations and artists based in Natick, although all applications will be considered. Applications will be prioritized for those that demonstrate a direct public benefit to residents of Natick. Preference for event projects will be given to projects that have a specified venue, time, and date. Finally, projects that are well planned and meet the priorities of the council will also receive some favour.
Grants may be awarded for the full amount of the application and for some of the application. Local Print shops can help with disseminating more details about such applications to those individuals and organizations which meet the criteria for such applications.
The amount of $14,300 was given to the NCC from the Massachusetts Cultural Council last year. The Massachusetts Cultural Council is a state agency which allocates funds to the various communities in the Commonwealth. These funds were given to such organizations and individuals as the Historical Society of Natick, Lilja Elementary School, Smitha Radhakrishnan, and Voices of MetroWest Inc.
All proposals are due by Tuesday, October 17.Get a Free Quote for Print
